Volunteer Bonfire Recap!

SDAFF volunteers rock! Our current crop of volunteers are some of the most dedicated and hard working in San Diego. They certainly proved that during last year's film festival where some of them worked everyday of the two week long festival. So it's a nice change of pace when we treat the volunteers to social gatherings like last Friday's first ever SDAFF volunteer bonfire! It was pretty cool hanging out with some of our best volunteers, along side some promising new faces, at the La Jolla shores bonfire pits.

During the day some of our SDAFF volunteers and staff members played an impromptu game of rugby. At night we cooked turkey dogs and roasted marshmallows and Chocopies over the bonfire. It was a great night and we hope to see more of our volunteers at our next volunteer gathering!
