One of the benefits of running a nonprofit org like SDAFF is getting to work with the best people in town - people who are creative, generous, passionate, and FUN. But alas, not everyone can stay forever... especially when LOVE calls.
Such is the story of our dear friend, Kelly Lim, who has volunteered with us for the last 4-5 years (that makes her an old-timer). Despite San Diego's perfect weather, even SDAFF is not enough to keep her in America's Finest City. Our dear Kelly is following her dreams of living in New York where she has found new love (that's one lucky man, Max!) and a new journey. We wish her well.
Kelly has been one of those behind-the-scenes cheerleaders for SDAFF, helping us organize our annual live hip hop showcase, Blowfish, and spreading the good word of SDAFF - even to her parents who make an annual pilgrimage to our festival from Northern Cal.
Here's a photo of Kelly and the SDAFF gang, taking in one last meal at Teri Cafe.

Oh, and here's a photo of Kelly in my Chun Li outfit a few years ago that I made for Comic-Con. She rocked it! Now's she's off to kick some a** in the Big Apple!
