Takashi Miike's "13 Assassins" will soldier on for another week all thanks to a strong box office this past weekend at Landmark's Ken Cinema. The movie will now transfer to Landmark's La Jolla Village property starting this Friday (06/10). Unfortunately, on the other side of the spectrum "Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" will end its run at the Reading Gaslamp on Thursday (06/09).

  1. If you liked Chiu Man Cheuk in this movie, you should check out his earlier stuff. Hero of the Times is what I remember him from. He plays a Chinese Martial Arts hero, Fong Sai Yuk, and the fighting style is very much like that of Jet Li's Wong Fei Hong in Once Upon a Time in China. Check it out!
