A popular and well received historical Chinese Epic from SDAFF 2010 will make a return visit to San Diego. First time director Christina Yao's EMPIRE OF SILVER will open at the AMC Mission Valley 20 Theaters on Friday August 5th.
The storyline of the film focuses on 1899 China with the backdrop of the northern province of Shanxi, better known as the "Wall Street of China" because it was home to the guild of bankers.
