1. Reel Voices films are being selected to screen at film festivals around the nation… and the world! From LA Asian Pacific Film Festival to NFFTY in Seattle, from Youngcuts in Montreal, Canada to Fresh Film Festival in Ireland-- Our films are traveling all across the globe! Look forward to more news of film festival screenings.
2. Reel Voices 2011 alumni Alex and Marygian have formed their own production company: Suggestion Box Films! Check them out on Facebook!
3. SDAFF, The AJA Project, and Sun & Moon Vision Productions have joined forces to create a powerful documentary program called Reel Voices Journey serving refugee high school students in Southeast San Diego. Students will document their personal journeys from war-torn countries through this collaborative program.
4. Reel Voices 2012 will be expanding the program by adding a portion of a narrative film production. Students will not only learn to work on an individual project, but also learn how to work with an actual film production crew.
