Thirst - Bloody Good Time

Opening night provided viewers with a balance of drama and scares and laughs.  Although Thirst is marketed as a horror movie, it is both a horror and comedy at the same time.

Sang-huyn, plays the hero of Park Chan-Wook's "Thirst" who is many different things: a Roman Catholic priest; a selfless volunteer in a dangerous medical experiment; a reluctant faith healer with a cult following; a vampire!

"Thirst" is a bloodstained horror movie, dark comedy and psychodrama of crime and punishment, mad love and sex.  The movie has its long drawn out moments and may be quite long to some, but it makes up for it in its comedic take on the tragedy and struggles faced by Sang-huyn while trying not to take a life for his own survival.

"Thirst" won the Jury Prize this year at the Cannes Film Festival and will be released on DVD in November.  Watch for it!
